Olive Chauke appointed as a Growthpoint Executive Director

Olive Chauke has been appointed as an Executive Director of Growthpoint Properties and designated as its Human Resources Director, with effect from 26 June 2018.

The JSE-listed property heavyweight and Top40 Index Company made the announcement on the JSE’s SENS yesterday. Chauke has held the position of Head of Human Resources since January 2017.

Growthpoint said the appointment follows the Board’s decision in principle, for the Human Resources Director to have strategic input and amongst other things, to represent employees as a stakeholder category at Board level.

The SA Real Estate Investment Trust (SA REIT) is the country’s largest primary REIT listed on the JSE and has assets on three continents. Growthpoint owns and manages a diversified portfolio of 559 property assets, locally and internationally, with a value of R128 billion at 31 December 2017.
